Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician for the Intensive Care Unit in New Jersey. The role supports direct patient care under licensed supervision, conducts specimen collection, and helps maintain the plan of care with accurate data reporting.

Qualifies with a high school diploma, BLS, CPI training, and English proficiency; bilingual abilities are a plus. The position requires physical stamina to assist in a busy care environment and to work part-time daytime hours.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI training within 1 year of hire or transfer, or by 10/31/25 for existing employees.
• Ability to speak and write English; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care needs and support plan of care.
• Communicate observations and data to supervising clinician.
• Collect test specimens and assist with limited lab procedures as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced hospital setting.
