Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Technician for 12-hour night shifts from 6pm to 6:30am. The role supports direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision and assists with personal care and data collection as part of the plan of care.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, English proficiency, 8 weeks of patient care education, and a willingness to complete BLS within 30 days. CPI training is required within 1 year or by 10/31/25 for current staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI training within 1 year of hire or transfer, or until 10/31/25 for existing employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care needs and participate in the plan of care.
• Communicate observations and data collection to the Clinical Associate.
• Collect test specimens and, as directed, perform limited laboratory services and document results.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect in all interactions with customers.
