Job summary

AtlantiCare in Atlantic City, NJ seeks a Patient Care Technician in Trauma ICU for full-time daytime shifts. The role supports the care team with direct and indirect patient care, specimen collection, and basic lab duties, reporting observations to the clinical staff.

Emphasis on confidentiality and teamwork in a high-stakes environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification within 30 days, CPI training within 1 year, and at least 8 weeks of patient care

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• AHA BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI training within 1 year of hire or transfer.
• 8 weeks of Patient Care education or direct patient care experience or enrollment in a program.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Collect specimens and perform limited laboratory procedures as directed.
• Document care activities and communicate observations to clinicians.
• Maintain confidentiality and support team objectives.
