AtlantiCare is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Heart & Vascular Unit on the Night shift. The role supports the care team by providing direct patient care, collecting specimens, and documenting activities under licensed supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma, BLS certification within 30 days, and CPI training within 1 year. Strong English communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI training within 1 year of hire or transfer, or by 10/31/25 for existing employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and participate in the plan of care.
• Collect test specimens as directed and document care activities.
• Communicate observations to the Clinical Associate and support care team.
• Perform limited laboratory services including specimen processing, QC testing and instrument checks.
