Job summary

Advocate Health Care in the United States is seeking a part-time nursing assistive role to support Registered Nurses in the Critical Care unit. The position requires 20 hours per week with every third weekend and holiday on rotation, including PM/night shifts.

The role emphasizes patient hygiene, mobility, vital signs, EMR documentation, and collaboration with the care team. Applicants should have a GED/HSED or high school diploma, BLS certification in good standing, and Nurse Aide registration

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, mobility).
• Record vitals and daily weights; document in EMR accurately.
• Assist in admission/transfer/discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Respond to patient calls and communicate needs to the care team.
• Support patient positioning, transfers, and nutrition-related tasks.
• Maintain skin integrity and manage basic supplies and equipment.
