Job summary

Advocate Health in Grafton, ND is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support daily patient care under RN supervision. The role involves bathing, feeding, mobility, vital sign checks, and documentation in the EMR, with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

The position requires BLS certification within 45 days and active Nurse Aide registration. Expect 32 hours per week with weekend shifts and rotating holidays in a supportive hospital setting.

Qualifications

• GED or HSED or high school diploma required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, mobility.
• Record vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Rounding with RN; communicate needs to RN.
• Assist in admission/transfer/discharge; prepare room and patient belongings.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens; perform point-of-care testing per policy.
• Run errands and restock nursing area; clean equipment.
