Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 45 days of hire.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the state registry.
• Excellent communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, grooming, feeding and mobility.
• Measure and document vital signs, intake/output and daily weights in EMR.
• Perform patient rounds, report observations to RN, and assist with transfers.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge activities and maintain room readiness.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Transport supplies and clean work areas; manage stocks for nursing area.
