Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Aide to support critical care teams in Grafton, ND. You will assist with daily patient care, monitor vitals, and document in the EMR under RN supervision.

The role requires good communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to handle a rotating schedule, including weekends and holiday rotations. BLS and state Nurse Aide registration are required within the stated timelines.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.
• GED/HSE or high school diploma.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding and ambulation.
• Document vitals and fluids in the EMR and monitor I&O.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Collect specimens and participate in routine testing as assigned.
• Maintain nursing area: stock supplies, clean equipment, and organize rooms.
• Support patient safety and infection prevention practices.
