Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support our ICU service lines across multiple units. Candidates should have experience caring for critically ill patients and be comfortable floating between CVICU, SICU and MICU environments.

Responsibilities include holistic assessment, plan of care, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, and support during patient handoffs. ICU-specific knowledge, teamwork, and adherence to ANA/Ohio Nurse Practice Act guide practice.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for critically ill patients.
• Ability to float between multiple ICU environments.
• RN licensure in Ohio with required certifications (BLS; ACLS within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients holistically and develop/adjust plans of care.
• Collaborate with ICU teams and other units; communicate changes during handoffs.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
