Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support ICU service lines. You will float between CVICU, SICU and MICU, caring for critically ill patients and adapting to different ICU environments.

Ideal candidates will have strong critical care skills, be comfortable with rapid handoffs using SBAR, and commit to evidence-based practice within a collaborative team. Ohio RN license and BLS are required, ACLS within 6 months of hire for ICU areas, BSN within 5 years of

Qualifications

• Experience caring for critically ill patients.
• Comfortable floating between multiple ICU environments.
• Current RN license in Ohio; BLS required.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• BSN required within 5 years of hire for post-2010 hires.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Communicate effectively using SBAR during handoffs.
• Provide patient and family education based on plan of care.
• Respond to emergencies with critical thinking and decisive action.
• Maintain safety and infection control in all care settings.
