Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks an Resource Float Pool RN to support ICU service lines across multiple ICU environments. Experience with critically ill patients and comfort working across CVICU, SICU, and MICU is preferred.

Flexibility to assist other hospital areas as needed will be required, with emphasis on teamwork and evidence-based practice. Candidates should hold an Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS within six months for ICU areas; BSN within five years is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires Ohio RN license and BLS; ACLS within 6 months for step-down/ICU; BSN within 5 years encouraged but not required.
• Resource Float Pool RN with ICU experience to float between ICU environments and support other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs holistic patient assessments and plans care within The Christ Hospital model.
• Communicates care plans using SBAR; collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinates discharge planning and appropriate referrals from admission.
• Responds to emergencies with clinical judgment and urgency.
• Ensures safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies.
