Job summary

Stord is seeking an ICQA Area Manager II to oversee inventory control and quality routines at a high-volume distribution center. You will supervise ICQA leads and associates, ensure SOPs, and drive continuous improvement using CAPA and audits.

You will apply 2–4 years of WMS experience, strong communication, and leadership to reduce shrink, maintain bin accuracy, and support a culture of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Occasional overtime may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to four years’ experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) / inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
• Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of management and support teams.
• Able to transport up to 20 lbs.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all ICQA activities (cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, investigations, reconciliations, projects) for the assigned site.
• Ensure consistent application of SOPs, KPI tracking, and corrective action processes.
• Performance & Metrics Review daily/weekly data to identify trends, high-risk areas, and performance drift, to include workload planning activities.
• Conduct weekly reviews with ICQA Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
• Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements.
• Support execution of CAPA, audit responses, and inventory-related escalations.
• Directly manage and develop ICQA Leads and Associates.
• Create a culture of accuracy, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
• Continuous Improvement Support root cause analysis and CAPA implementation to address errors and control gaps.
