Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Specialty Business Manager – IBD to drive demand by presenting the product portfolio to physicians, clinics, and hospital accounts in the GA southwest territory. The role focuses on delivering clinical value, educating staff, and executing local marketing strategies while managing relationships with healthcare providers across multiple sites.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of relevant selling experience, and strong communication and collaboration

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device and/or relevant clinical or industry experience.
• Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills to identify unique selling opportunities and adaptability to changing market conditions.
• Strong collaboration working within teams.
• Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Support account onboarding, including education, and procedures.
• Engage in clinical selling activities, including delivering the clinical value proposition, advancing customers across a brand belief continuum.
• Support initial clinical educational support and in-service for medical staff (infusion procedures, etc.).
• Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities and programs for HCPs, such as peer-to-peer discussions.
• Attains sales goals and objectives by delivering speciality product volume as well as other key metrics in the assigned Territory.
• Establish professional working relationships with Health Care Providers, decision makers, support staff, and influencers within assigned customers.
• Develop and deliver a targeted sales message based on accurate clinical information, utilizing approved marketing materials and medical reprints.
• Executes marketing strategies at the local level, leveraging resources appropriately and working with company team members.
