Job summary

Energy Transfer LP seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and related equipment at gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The role requires reading manuals and schematics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and participating in safety and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; instrumentation background preferred.
• Experience with control systems and SCADA is desirable.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards for industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrument and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics including P&IDs.
• Test, calibrate, and document control and safety devices per applicable regulations.
• Provide accurate written and electronic reporting and participate in safety programs.
