Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an Instrumentation-Electrical (I&E) Technician to diagnose, service, troubleshoot and maintain instrument and electrical systems, PLCs, DCS, and motor control circuits. The role requires reading complex schematics and performing preventive maintenance in a high‑voltage environment.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in industrial electrical/electronic technology and five years of I&E maintenance experience, with PLC/CNC knowledge and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in industrial electrical/electronic technology or similar certification.
• Five years industrial experience in Instrumentation-Electrical Maintenance.
• Ability to read/interpret various drawings and schematics.
• Demonstrated PLC and CNC knowledge; 480V MCC experience a plus.
• English reading/writing/speaking required; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC and DCS hardware, software, and controls.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain 480/240V MCC and power distribution systems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and safety tasks.
