AdvanSix is seeking an Instrumentation-Electrical Technician to diagnose and repair instrument and electrical systems, motor controls, power supplies, and PLCs. The role involves troubleshooting critical equipment, reading schematics, and performing preventive maintenance.

Formación

• Associate degree in industrial electrical/electronic technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial instrumentation/electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic drawings & schematics.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PLCs and CNCs.
• Experience with 480 Volt MCC and power distribution systems.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot critical equipment on failure.
• Troubleshoot AC and DC electronics.
• Use electrical test equipment (VOM, oscilloscope, megger, calibrators).
• Read/interprete electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation diagrams.
• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair PLC/DCS hardware and controls.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC motors and control circuits.
• Maintain 480/240V MCC and power distribution systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
