Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Technical Business Development Manager to drive growth for Thermal Management in North America, focusing on hyperscale customers. You will identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and develop technical solutions while maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

The role requires deep data center knowledge, expertise in AC Thermal systems, and the ability to align offerings with market demands. Travel to hyperscale accounts will be required to expand wallet share.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field.
5–8 years in technical sales or business development.
Technical knowledge of 3-phase AC Thermal products.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience working with large RFQs.
Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and executives.
Maintain strategic customer partnerships through technical discussions.
Design and propose complex, tailored technical solutions aligned with business needs.
Produce customer-specific presentations aligned with strategy.
Provide technical review of RFPs for Vertiv Thermal Management opportunities.
Coordinate with engineering and sales teams to move opportunities to orders.
Represent the company at customer visits and participate in account planning.
