Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field.
• 5-8 years of technical sales or business development experience.
• Technical knowledge of 3-phase AC Thermal products and applications.
• Deep market dynamics and industry knowledge.
• Experience working on large, complex RFQs.
• Experience working with Sales Offices and Account Managers.
• Salesmanship and ability to handle stressful customer relationships.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• Assist in problem job / equipment reconciliation.
• Provide a role model within the company for sales department functions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and senior executives at existing clients.
• Maintain strategic customer partnerships through technical discussions.
• Design and propose tailored technical solutions addressing business needs.
• Produce customer-specific presentations aligned with client strategy.
• Respond to RFPs with technical reviews and proposals for Hyperscale opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering and sales teams to overcome order barriers.
• Represent Vertiv at customer factory visits and key account planning sessions.
• Support technical proposals and design documentation for delivery to customers.
• Provide sales staff with technical assistance and customer-facing presentations.
