Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support our Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will design and update structural drawings for hyperscale data centers, coordinating with engineers to ensure accuracy and constructability.

You will apply Revit and AutoCAD todevelop clear construction documents and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the United States, potentially leading design work on smaller packages. This role offers hybrid work with offices nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years drafting/design experience in structural field
• At least 1 year of Revit
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models; coordinate building systems and existing conditions; produce clear, accurate construction documents.
• Utilize 2D drafting and BIM tools, including Revit, to support project coordination and quality reviews.
• May organize design work for a small project or work package; follow project standards; share technical knowledge with teammates.
• Contribute to data center projects with multidisciplinary teams across the United States.
