Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support our Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will develop and update structural drawings and models in collaboration with structural engineers, coordinating building systems and existing conditions for data center projects across the United States.

You’ll use 2D drafting and BIM tools, including Revit, and may lead design work on smaller packages.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
At least 1 year of Revit.
At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.
Experience leading a team of Designers (preferred).
Experience with Data Centers - Hyperscale (preferred).
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam (preferred).

Responsibilities

Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
Coordinate building systems and existing conditions with engineers and project teams.
Produce clear, accurate construction documents including foundations and structural framing.
Support project coordination and quality reviews using 2D drafting and BIM tools (Revit).
Lead design work on small packages and share technical knowledge with teammates.
