Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support the Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team in the United States. You will draft and update structural drawings, coordinate building systems, and help produce construction documents for hyperscale data centers.

Work with structural engineers and project teams, using Revit and AutoCAD, with opportunities to lead small design packages and share technical knowledge across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions with project teams.
• Produce clear construction documents including foundations and framing.
• Use 2D drafting and BIM tools (Revit) for project coordination and quality reviews.
• Share knowledge and help organize design work on projects.
