Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support the Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team, contributing to the design of hyperscale data centers and mission‑critical facilities across the United States.

You will develop and update structural drawings, coordinate systems, and help produce construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD, with opportunities to lead small design work packages and share knowledge with teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit experience.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions with project teams.
• Help produce clear, accurate construction documents.
• Use 2D drafting and BIM tools (Revit) for project coordination and quality reviews.
• Assist in organizing design work for small projects or work packages and follow project standards.
