Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support our Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will contribute to the design of hyperscale data centers and coordinate with engineers and project teams.

You will develop and update structural drawings and models, coordinate building systems and existing conditions, and help produce construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD. The role offers hybrid work options across the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of hyperscale data centers and coordinate drawings with structural engineers, designers, and project teams.
• Develop and update structural drawings and models, coordinate building systems and existing conditions, and help produce clear construction documents.
• Work with 2D drafting and BIM tools, including Revit, to support project coordination and quality reviews.
• Assist in organizing design work for a small project or work package and follow project standards.
• Share technical knowledge with teammates and contribute to design reviews.
