Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support the Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will develop and update structural drawings and models for hyperscale data centers, coordinating with engineers and project teams to deliver reliable construction documents.

The role requires proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with several years of drafting/design experience in the structural field. Join a collaborative, nationwide team and contribute to mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.
• Ideally, at least 2 years of Revit experience.
• Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Experience leading a team of Designers.
• Experience with Data Centers - Hyperscale.
• Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions.
• Help produce clear, accurate construction documents.
• Use 2D drafting and BIM tools, including Revit, to support project coordination and quality reviews.
• Organize design work for a small project or work package.
• Follow project standards and procedures.
• Share technical knowledge with teammates.
