Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support the Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will help design hyperscale data centers, develop and update structural drawings and models, and coordinate with engineers and project teams.

You will use Revit and AutoCAD 2D/3D tools, contribute to project standards, and possibly lead a small work package. Jacobs offers hybrid work and nationwide opportunities across the US.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in structural field.
• Minimum 1 year of Revit and 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions with project teams.
• Lead quality reviews and ensure conformance to project standards.
• Assist in organizing design work and mentoring junior designers.
