Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support our Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You’ll help design hyperscale data centers and other mission-critical facilities across the United States, developing and updating structural drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.

You’ll collaborate with structural engineers and project teams, coordinating systems and conditions, and producing clear construction documents while adhering to project standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.
• Experience leading a team of Designers.
• Experience with Data Centers - Hyperscale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions with project teams.
• Prepare clear construction documents and perform quality reviews.
• Support design work organization for small projects or work packages.
• Share technical knowledge with teammates.
