Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support the Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will contribute to the design of hyperscale data centers and coordinate with structural engineers, designers, and project teams to develop and update drawings and models.

You will use Revit and 2D drafting to support coordination and quality reviews, and may help organize design work for small projects, while following project standards and sharing knowledge with teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions with engineers and project teams.
• Help produce clear, accurate construction documents and 2D BIM models.
• Use 2D drafting and BIM tools, including Revit, to support project coordination and quality reviews.
• Organize design work for small projects or work packages and share technical knowledge with teammates.
