Job summary

Gilbane Building Company in Dallas seeks an Electrical Controls Superintendent - Data Center to manage all field operations on hyperscale data center projects. This on-site role requires strong leadership, safety enforcement, and daily coordination with trade contractors to keep the project on schedule.

Required are a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management, 7–12 years leading large commercial/industrial projects, hyperscale data center experience, OSHA 30, STS‑C, First Aid/CPR, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7–12 years leading a component of work or whole project on large commercial/industrial projects in a superintendent role.
• Hyperscale Data Center experience required.
• OSHA 30-hour certified; STS-C; First Aid/CPR/ AED; Stop the Bleed training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors to meet the approved schedule.
• Develops, documents and communicates field work plans and changes.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Ensures permits are obtained for construction purposes.
• Enforces safety compliance and leads safety initiatives on site.
• Leads contractor meetings and maintains daily reports and project schedule.
• Plans, coordinates and manages jobsite logistics.
• Trains direct reports on processes and completes daily tasks.
