Job summary

Unbound Academy seeks licensed teachers to mentor students in a hybrid, fully virtual Arizona charter school. You’ll lead high-energy online workshops, focus on life skills, and guide students aged 8–14 through tailored supports rather than traditional lectures.

You will work with AI-powered tools, deliver engaging live sessions, and help students build independence, confidence, and executive function. This is a non-traditional, meaningful teaching role with flexible pathways.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. teaching certificate from any state, or expired certificate eligible for reinstatement, with certification transferable to Arizona
• Clear, engaging communication for students ages 8-14 with an energetic virtual presence
• Comfort leading students live via video with organized transitions and strong attention to detail
• Able to work in a hybrid role in Arizona

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive virtual workshops focused on life skills and self-direction
• Mentor students one-on-one and in groups to build confidence and executive functioning
• Use platform data and student signals to personalize support and track progress
• Collaborate with fellow educators to design and improve project-based learning experiences
• Create a safe, high-energy environment where students feel seen and motivated
