Job summary

Unbound Academy in Arizona is seeking licensed teachers to join as virtual student mentors in a hybrid, fully virtual charter school.

You will lead interactive online workshops, mentor small groups, and support students using AI-powered tools to build life skills in two focused hours daily. The role emphasizes real-world learning, mentorship, and developing independence.

This is a full-time contractor position with Crossover, paying $30 per hour ($60,000 per year) with weekly payments.

Qualifications

Valid U.S. teaching certificate from any state, or an expired certificate eligible for reinstatement, with certification transferable to Arizona.
Clear, engaging, age-appropriate communication for students ages 8-14, with an energetic virtual presence.
Comfort leading students live via video with organized transitions and attention to detail.
Able to work in a hybrid role in Arizona.

Responsibilities

Leading interactive virtual workshops focused on life skills such as communication, creativity, problem-solving, and self-direction.
Mentoring students one-on-one and in small groups to build confidence, ownership, and executive functioning.
Using platform data and student signals to personalize support and track progress over time.
Collaborating with fellow educators to design and continuously improve project-based learning experiences.
Creating a safe, high-energy environment where students feel seen, challenged, and motivated to grow.
