The role replaces traditional grading with performance-based growth, focusing on life skills, entrepreneurship, and executive functioning. This is a contractor of record with Crossover, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. teaching certificate from any state, or an expired certificate eligible for reinstatement, with certification transferable to Arizona.
• Clear, engaging, age‑appropriate communication for students ages 8-14, with an energetic virtual presence.
• Comfort leading students live via video, with organized transitions and strong attention to detail.
• Able to work in a hybrid role in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Leading interactive virtual workshops focused on life skills such as communication, creativity, problem‑solving, and self‑direction
• Mentoring students one‑on‑one and in small groups to build confidence, ownership, and executive functioning
• Using platform data and student signals to personalize support and track progress over time
• Collaborating with fellow educators to design and continuously improve project‑based learning experiences
• Creating a safe, high‑energy environment where students feel seen, challenged, and motivated to grow
