Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Change Management Specialist (Change Coordination & Work Intake Coordinator) for a W-2 contract. The role focuses on ensuring work requests and change records are complete, routed correctly, and ready for approvals, while engineers own technical planning and execution.

You will coordinate reviews, draft communications, support change execution, and track metrics for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT, network, infrastructure, telecom, or utility operations.
• Knowledge of change management, work intake, service management, or project coordination.
• Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar workflow platforms.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Detail-oriented with focus on process quality and readiness.
• Willingness to support occasional evening or weekend activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and validate incoming work requests in TWI/JIRA to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper routing.
• Perform quality reviews of change records, ensuring documentation, approvals, risk assessments, testing plans, rollback plans, and communications are in place.
• Coordinate ServiceNow change administration, approval tracking, scheduling, and readiness activities.
• Represent changes during CIRB, pre-CAB, and related review meetings; coordinate follow-up actions and documentation.
• Draft and coordinate customer and stakeholder communications before and after change execution.
• Support change execution logistics, bridge coordination, status communications, and post-change closure activities.
• Track metrics, lessons learned, and process improvements to enhance change quality, readiness, and operational efficiency.
