Job summary

Global Channel Managementinc in Frisco, TX is seeking a seasoned VoIP System Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience in hardware, networking and telephony to design, implement and operate global communications services.

The ideal candidate will work across locations (Charlotte, NC; Broomfield, CO; Frisco, TX; Chicago, IL) in a hybrid setup and bring expertise in AT&T VoIP, Zoom Phone and Avaya VOIP with related SBCs; a BS in Computer Engineering or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

5 years of experience with hardware, networking and telephony solutions.
Locations include Frisco TX, Charlotte NC, Broomfield CO, Chicago IL.
Hybrid work arrangement.
Preferred certifications: Zoom Phone, Avaya solutions; DevOps tools: Power Automate, Power BI, Ansible.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Strategic planning, design, implementation, and operation of global communications services.
Develop and document infrastructure support policies and guidelines.
Monitor trends and propose future architecture roadmaps.
Educate and mentor IT staff and provide necessary training.
Research best practices and act as SME in infrastructure area.
Collaborate with outsource vendors to drive sound architectures and config templates.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and restore services.
