Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of sales experience in a retail, financial services or hospitality environment preferred.
• Some banking experience is preferred (e.g., teller) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be technically literate.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Open deposit accounts.
• Process loan applications for mortgage, consumer, small business, etc.
• Close loans for applicable business lines.
• Make referrals to other bank business lines and third-party partners.
• Proactively reach out, by phone and in person, to high-value customers to retain and grow the portfolio.
• Responsible for operational compliance and adherence to policy.
• Handle daily account maintenance and other service issues as necessary.
• Understand and provide support in achieving quarterly sales.
• Process deposits to customer accounts and verify cash and endorsements.
• Cash checks for customers and non-customers according to bank policy.
• Process and record the sale of monetary instruments.
• File all government-mandated reports related to large cash transactions and sale of monetary instruments.
• Process foreign currency purchases and sales.
• Process various types of loan payments and credit card cash advances.
• Adhere to all bank policies and procedures.
