Eastern Bank is seeking a Service Associate / Teller to support customers with deposits, loans, and everyday banking needs in our branch network.

In this hybrid role, you will blend traditional teller duties with proactive sales to grow the portfolio, meeting quarterly targets while providing accurate, friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of sales experience in retail, financial services or hospitality preferred.
• Some banking experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to build relationships across the organization.
• Ability to quickly learn banking products and services.

Responsibilities

• Opens deposit accounts and processes loan applications for various lending units.
• Closes loans and refers customers to other bank lines and partners.
• Proactively engages high-value customers by phone and in person to grow the portfolio.
• Maintains compliance with policies and handles daily account maintenance.
• Balances platform and teller duties to support sales goals.
