The role involves processing loan applications, handling deposits, and supporting sales efforts, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and relationship building in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of sales experience in a retail, financial services or hospitality environment preferred.
• Some banking experience is preferred (e.g., teller or otherwise).
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Simultaneously perform duties of a traditional branch customer service representative and teller.
• Process loan applications for mortgage, consumer, small business lending.
• Close loans for applicable business lines.
• Make referrals to other bank lines and third-party partners.
• Proactively reach out to high-value customers to retain and grow the portfolio.
• Process deposits, cash checks, and monetary instruments.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Handle daily account maintenance and service issues.
• Support quarterly sales targets.
