Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a growing client in RTP, NC. This role is hybrid, sitting onsite every Tuesday, with strong emphasis on customer-focused troubleshooting and service delivery.

You will diagnose and resolve end-user hardware and software issues, respond via ticketing systems, and document steps to improve efficiency while collaborating with internal teams on onboarding and access for employees.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or similar IT support environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Experience using ticketing systems and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for technical and non-technical users.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues.
• Respond to support requests through ticketing systems, phone, and email while meeting SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams and track resolutions.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to improve operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding and access.
