Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a technically strong Inside Sales Specialist to drive customer-focused sales for our Electrification Division in the United States.

You will pursue incoming leads, provide technical guidance, support complex bids, and convert customer needs into meaningful sales opportunities. You will work across sales, proposal, operations, and customer teams to keep opportunities moving—from inquiry through order and delivery support—while coordinating account setup, NDAs, order booking,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
• 8 years of experience required, including 3 years in the electrical industry.
• Familiar with 3-phase AC Power Systems and associated equipment.
• Experience with complex Bid, project proposal processes, and contact negotiations.
• Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate across customers and internal teams.
• SFDC (Salesforce) & SAP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary inside sales and customer support resource, qualifying leads and guiding customers through the journey.
• Manage and coordinate the proposal process, including RFQs and pricing involvement.
• Drive customer satisfaction and project execution through proactive communication and post-sale coordination.
• Support business operations and sales performance with account administration and reporting.
