Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Customer Success Specialist to guide customers through onboarding, implementation, and platform adoption in a hybrid role based in the RTP, NC area.

The role focuses on collaborating with customer IT teams, deploying VM-based collectors, and ensuring successful deployment experiences. A foundational networking background and strong communication are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer success, technical support, implementation, onboarding, or related technical role.
• Foundational networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, subnets, firewalls, SSH, SNMP, virtualized environments.
• Strong communication; able to explain technical concepts, conduct demos, or lead implementation meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, implementation, and activation efforts with customer IT teams.
• Deploy and configure VM-based collectors, integrations, and telemetry solutions.
• Provide guidance on networking requirements, IP addressing, DNS, firewalls, and system access.
• Support API integrations, cloud deployments, platform migrations, and customer adoption initiatives.
• Troubleshoot onboarding issues and coordinate with engineering/support teams on escalations.
