Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Technical Customer Success Specialist to join a networking and technology services team on a hybrid 3-month contract from RTP, NC. You will partner with customers during implementation, activation, and platform adoption, acting as a technical resource throughout onboarding.

The role requires 2+ years in networking/tech support, VM deployment familiarity, and ability to communicate complex concepts to customers. Extensions are possible; competitive hourly pay offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in networking, technical support, implementation, onboarding, customer success, or related tech role.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewall policies).
• Experience communicating technical concepts to customers and conducting demos or training.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer onboarding and activation sessions with customer IT teams.
• Assist with VM-based collectors, connectors, and telemetry deployment in customer environments.
• Guide customers on IP addressing, DNS, firewall rules, access credentials, and connectivity.
• Support cloud-to-cloud API integrations, platform migrations, and adoption initiatives.
• Troubleshoot onboarding challenges and coordinate with internal teams for escalation.
