Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support a leading organization in networking and technology. This hybrid role is based in the RTP, NC area with on-site presence every Tuesday and remote work for the rest of the week.

It starts as an initial 3-month contract with potential for quarterly extensions and long-term growth. The IT Support Specialist will work with customers and internal teams to support onboarding, implementation, platform adoption, and troubleshooting across IT

Qualifications

2+ years in IT support or related technical role.
Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, SSH, SNMP.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT field experience.

Responsibilities

Partner with customer IT and infrastructure teams to support onboarding, implementation, and activation of technology solutions.
Assist with deployment, configuration, and support of VM-based collectors, integrations, and monitoring tools within customer environments.
Provide technical guidance related to networking, connectivity, system access, DNS, IP addressing, firewall policies, and authentication requirements.
Support cloud-based implementations, API integrations, system migrations, and platform adoption initiatives.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application issues while coordinating resolutions with engineering and support teams.
Deliver technical training, end-user guidance, and best practices to ensure successful platform utilization.
Document customer environments, technical configurations, and implementation milestones.
