Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Customer Success Specialist to join its growing technology solutions and managed services organization. The specialist acts as trusted advisor, helping customers maximize value from cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and IT solutions through proactive support and relationship management.

This contract role requires on-site presence one day per week in Morrisville, NC, with onboarding and training responsibilities, security best-practice guidance, and ongoing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in customer success, technical support, or managed services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experience with Active Directory, identity management, and authentication technologies.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, wireless networking, infrastructure troubleshooting, and virtual machines.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships as the primary technical point of contact.
• Lead onboarding, training, and adoption initiatives for products and services.
• Support Microsoft 365 deployments, cloud migrations, and security best-practice implementation.
• Assess customer environments and recommend cloud, networking, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams.
• Advise customers on cybersecurity best practices, compliance, and risk mitigation.
