Job summary

Referment is seeking a Technology Specialist to deliver high-touch technical support to a senior principal and family office, blending end-user support with systems administration, software development, and security work.

The role spans on-site and remote support, researching new products, and improving technical workflows while protecting sensitive systems. Excellent judgment, discretion and collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A technical degree and up to six years of comparable experience.
• Programming in Python, C# or PowerShell.
• Strong Windows and/or UNIX knowledge with systems administration.
• Excellent collaboration, organization and communication.
• Resourcefulness and curiosity solving open-ended technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and other technology needs.
• Research, test and evaluate new products, then install, configure and troubleshoot supported systems.
• Build workflow applications, monitoring tools and administration automation.
• Apply cybersecurity practices across devices and systems, including security controls and monitoring.
• Use generative AI tools to accelerate development and automate workflows.
• Contribute to broader enterprise technology and systems-engineering projects.
