Job summary

Tempus is hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to assist a broad user base across California. You’ll handle desktop support, account administration, AV systems, and remote assistance, while engaging with security and DevOps teams as needed.

The role requires experience with Windows and Mac environments, SaaS tools, and strong client-facing communication. California-based employees receive a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and troubleshooting software including Microsoft Office, Windows Server and SaaS tools.
• Familiar with Zendesk and ServiceNow ticketing systems.
• Experience supporting Mac OS X and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of identity management (AD/Okta/Google Admin).
• Strong customer service, writing and reporting skills.
• Ability to work remote, on-site and hybrid users.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and remote IT support for employees.
• Maintain computer hardware, printers and peripherals and inventory.
• Administer user accounts and onboarding/offboarding.
• Evaluate and test new technologies and vendors.
• Support executives with IT issues and AV/conference room tech.
• Handle phone and remote client support and use ticketing system.
• Create Wikis and How-To guides for staff.
