Job summary

Communities In Schools seeks a Specialist, Technology Support Operations to own technology support, onboarding/offboarding, and service delivery within a hybrid work model in Arlington, VA. The role requires strong technical judgment, customer focus, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.

Reporting to the Sr Director of Technology Operations, you will diagnose issues, maintain secure systems, and partner with vendors and MSPs to ensure reliable technology for staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA A+ and MCP certifications.
• 6+ years of progressively responsible help desk or technology support experience.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with ticketing and service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, high-quality technology support and drive issues to resolution.
• Manage tickets from phone, email, and ticketing systems; prioritize and troubleshoot.
• Diagnose problems, guide users through steps, and verify resolutions.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, access, and license changes securely.
• Coordinate projects and communicate status to stakeholders.
