Job summary

Capital Metro is hiring a Recruiter I-III in Austin, TX on a hybrid schedule. The role supports end-to-end recruiting, from sourcing and scheduling to basic screening, while building diverse talent pipelines and tracking recruitment performance.

You will use Oracle and LinkedIn Recruiter to identify top talent, engage candidates through events and networks, and partner with hiring managers on market trends and selection practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• One year of experience supporting high-volume external recruitment and internal mobility programs.
• Knowledge of state and federal recruiting regulations.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates for open roles.
• Use Oracle and LinkedIn Recruiter to source top talent through Boolean search and niche sourcing tools.
• Engage prospective candidates through social media, networks, and career fairs to support diverse pipelines.
• Partner with hiring managers on market trends, salary benchmarks, and effective selection practices.
• Represent Capital Metro at career fairs and events to promote open roles.
• Identify screening tools and interview question banks to support consistent, high-quality selection processes.
• Support advertising and outreach efforts, including employer branding and candidate care solutions.
• Create recruiting content across social platforms to engage potential talent.
• Track recruitment performance using KPIs like Time-to-Fill, Cost-per-Hire, and Quality-of-Hire.
