Job summary

Vermont Information Processing (VIP) seeks a Supplier Support Specialist to join our Support Team in Colchester, VT. The role focuses on supporting beverage suppliers with data collection services and assisting them with reporting solutions, delivering superior customer service in a team setting.

Primary responsibilities include building strong customer relationships, addressing concerns promptly, and guiding customers to internal resources to ensure successful software usage and data quality.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft excel and business software applications.
• At least one year of customer support experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred.
• Beverage industry knowledge is a bonus!

Responsibilities

• Establish a positive, professional and trustworthy relationship with our customers and help them work towards efficient usage of our software.
• Build strong supplier relationships by providing responsive support, addressing concerns, and connecting customers with appropriate internal resources.
• Help customers better understand the quality and reliability of our data and how it contributes towards their product's success.
• Ensure that any customer concerns are addressed in a timely manner and directed to the appropriate resources.
• Prioritize daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities, both to the company and the customer.
