Job summary

PepsiCo in South Burlington, VT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain beverage equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage equipment, diagnosing issues, and ensuring safe operation.

You will perform installations, prioritize service calls, educate customers, and manage parts inventory on the service truck while building strong account relationships.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Valid CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and DOT regulations compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, twisting).
• EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
• Refrigeration certification Type I/II (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage equipment at customer accounts.
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine best repair or replacement solutions.
• Install equipment by routing lines, connecting product, water and gas supply, and ensuring proper drainage; fill and adjust mixtures.
• Prioritize and schedule service and preventive maintenance calls to meet customer service windows.
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep; document each service call and maintain parts inventory on the service truck; build relationships at every account.
