Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Substation Engineer 2 to contribute to high voltage substation projects. You will participate in concept development, planning, and execution, and support investigations and design challenges with a focus on quality reports.

The role emphasizes collaboration, continual learning through peer-sharing, and potential travel to client sites with a hybrid office schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree with strong preference in Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace/Chemical Engineering or related coursework (Coding, 3D Modeling/Design).
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience reviewing drawings and models.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take active role in project conceptualization, work planning, and execution.
• Support assignments involving investigating, troubleshooting, and solving electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare clear reports that meet client requirements and company formats.
• Engage in knowledge sharing via Communities of Practice; travel to client sites as needed.
