Job summary
Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Substation Engineer 2 to join a project team focused on detailed electrical design and project management for high voltage substations. You will contribute to concept development, planning, and execution while supporting complex electrical challenges and client-driven formats.
The role includes collaboration with peers to advance knowledge across communities of practice. The position offers hybrid work with three days in the office and potential relocation support
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with strong preference in related technical areas.
- Experience in the power or electric utility industry is preferred (1+ year).
- Familiarity with design methods for technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and 3D visualization.
Responsibilities
- Participate in project conceptualization, work planning, and project execution.
- Troubleshoot and solve electrical engineering issues across substations.
